Official: Di Francesco is Roma's new coach

Eusebio Di Francesco is now Roma's new head coach as he replaces Luciano Spalletti (who is now with Inter). The ex-Sassuolo coach signed a two year deal with the giallorossi until June 30th 2019. Here is what he had to say on the matter in an interview published on Roma's official webpage: "I am very happy to be back here with Roma. This team always meant a lot to me and it is an honor to be back. I want to thank president Pallotta and the management for giving me this great opportunity. I promise that I will work hard as I know that this team deserve great results".

PALLOTTA'S MESSAGE - Here is what James Pallotta said on Roma's new hire: " I met up a few times with the management as we discussed potential candidates. We wanted someone who was going to be able to get the best out of these players as well as someone who was going to work well with our upcoming youth players. Our new sporting director Monchi chose Eusebio Di Francesco. We believe this is the right decision for Roma as Eusebio always played a nice style of football".
