Official: Former AC Milan star Leonardo takes over Turkish club

Leonardo is Antalyaspor’s new Coach, the Turkish club confirmed today.

A former AC Milan manager, he led the Rossoneri to third place in the 2009-2010 Serie A season, including a 3-0 win over Juventus.

With former Brazilian international and Milan team-mate Serginho also seen in the stands in Antalya over the weekend, it has since emerged that the full-back will become his assistant.

The Coach at Inter in the 2010-2011 season, he took the Nerazzurri to second place - even winning a very high 17 games out of 23 in charge of the Nerazzurri.

Leonardo then went on to take over at PSG as sporting director, when he brought a number of strong players, including Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Marco Verratti, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Javier Pastore and Thiago Motta.
