Through the Lega Serie A website, a new signing was officially unveiled for Genoa. Marko Pajač, Cagliari’s 26-year-old Croatian midfielder, has arrived in Genoa on loan with an option to buy from the Sardinian side. The player arrived in Cagliari in 2016 but has spent the last three seasons on loan with Benevento, Perugia and Empoli. He has only made 4 league appearances for the Rossoblu. Pajač is comfortable in both a left midfielder and left back role.
