    Confirmed: injured AS Roma star Salah out of derby clash

    AS Roma star Mohammed Salah won’t take part to next week-end’s derby clash against Lazio, Sky Sport reports. The Egypt International wash accidentally hit by former Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen during yesterday’s training session and is being ruled out for the crucial Serie A clash against the giallorossi city rivals.

    The injury of Salah is quite a huge blow for AS Roma manager Luciano Spalletti as also Stephan El Shaarawy is in doubt for the incoming game against Lazio.

    If the Italian winger won’t be eligible to play the derby clash, Luciano Spalletti will play Juan Manuel Iturbe as right winger with Diego Perotti on the opposite flank and Edin Dzeko playing as a sole striker up front.

    The recovery time of Salah has not been disclosed but the former Chelsea man could remain out of action for several weeks as he arrived at Roma’s training centre today walking on crutches.
