    OFFICIAL: Joao Mario joins Inter

    Sporting CP have announced the departure of Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario who has moved to Inter on a € 45 million deal, making the 23-year-old the most expensive sale in the club’s history.


    The Portuguese side claim that the player’s transfer fee is € 40 million, plus € 5 million bonus, whilst Inter have (unofficially) confirmed that the add-ons are worth € 8 million.

    Joao Mario spent 14 years at the club and is another big name leaving Sporting CP after the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani.
