Official: Serie A has been suspended

After hours of speculations and rumours, the news has been confirmed. Amidst the Coronavirus emergency in Italy, Serie A has been suspended. This was announced by Italy's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte in a press conference earlier today.

"At this point, there is no reason for sporting events to continue. I'm talking about the football championship. I'm sorry to say this, but the fans should take note of this. We will not even allow gyms to be used for sports," he said.
