Exclusive: Paletta-Milan: contract renewal talks have stalled as his agent will be arriving in Italy

Marco Fassone said : " We will likley make signings in each position. At the back, there could be a few additions". Mateo Musacchio has now arrived but he won't be the only one. Alessio Romagnoli is unsellable as he and Musacchio will be Milan's starting center-back pairing. Gustavo Gomez will likely also stay at Milan next season too. What about Zapata and Paletta? Chances are, there will only be one of them who will stay on Milan's roster in 2017-18.

Zapata's current contract with Milan expires in 2019 where as Paletta's contract expires in 2018. An agreement was found between Galliani and Paletta's agent on a one year contract extension but now that the Milan ownership change occured, his position is in doubt. According to Calciomercato.com sources, the involved parties haven't met yet. A few clubs are on him including Antalyaspor, Atalanta and Bologna as the rumors keep growing.

Here is what his agent Martin Guastadisegno had to say to Calciomercato.com:" Yes I will be in Italy in two weeks from now. I will talk with Milan concerning Paletta and we will then see what their intentions are". Paletta would surely give Milan the priority as this summer could be a heated one for him.
