Reports in this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper claim that Juventus will offer striker Simone Zaza to Chelsea as part of any deal to bring Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic to Turin. The bianconeri have identified the 28-year-old midfielder as the perfect replacement for the departed Paul Pogba, but they face tough opposition from the Premier League side who are determined to keep hold of their player.
 

Antonio Conte recently stated that he would be an integral part of his plans this season and that he had the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the world. The journal states that Matic met with Chelsea officials yesterday explaining his desire to leave after being offered a deal worth €3 million per season; Chelsea have refused to budge however, but the Italian side is now prepared to offer 25-year-old Italian international Zaza as part of any potential deal.   

Corriere dello Sport states that another meeting will be held today between Napoli and representatives of Inter striker Mauro Icardi. The vesuviani are desperate to know if the 23-year-old wants to leave his current club and reports suggest they are even prepared to offer the nerazzurri €70 million for their star player.
 

The same journal also believes that Leicester City are ready to offer Roma €22 million for Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes. The 22-year-old spent last season on-loan at Empoli.



The Premier League champions have also been linked with a move for highly-rated Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa or “Gabigol”. Sky Sport Italia claims that the Foxes have become the latest club to make advances towards the Santos frontman along with Inter and Juventus.  

Mario Balotelli has told the Corriere di Verona that he is open to a move to Chievo this summer. The 25-year-old spent last year on-loan at Milan but is still currently owned by Liverpool.
 

La Gazzetta dello Sport states that new Milan boss Vincenzo Montella will get a €15 million transfer windfall from outgoing President Silvio Berlusconi. The rossoneri are desperate for midfield reinforcements with Mateo Kovacic (Real Madrid) and Adrien Rabiot (PSG) their two main targets.

Fiorentina are tracking Hull City’s Uruguayan frontman Abel Hernandez. Sportmediaset claims that club officials have met their Premier League counterparts to discuss the possibility of a return to Seri A for the former Palermo man.
