Paper Talk: Juve offer Colombian midfielder to beat Man Utd to French ace; Bayern tell Juve to be patient over Chelsea target

Reports in Corriere dello Sport state that Juventus will offer Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado to Paris Saint-Germain in exchange for Blaise Matuidi. The 30-year-old has been on the radar of several big European clubs with Manchester United the latest name linked with a move.

Juve tried to sign the Frenchman last summer only to fail on deadline day and the journal now believes that the Serie A champions will try for a second time. Matuidi is a client of super-agent Mino Raiola who has an optimum working relationship with the Bianconeri who have also been linked with another of his clients; 18-year-old goalkeeping sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma. Now coach Max Allegri, fresh from signing his new contract at the Allianz Stadium, hopes it will be second time lucky in his quest for Matuidi.

Watford have reportedly made an offer for Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina. Sky Sport claims The Hornets are now in pole-position to take the 23-year-old Gabon international.

Calciomercato.com understands that Manchester City are monitoring young Genoa striker Pietro Pellegri. The 16-year-old has been one of the stars of the club’s Primavera side and it’s believed the race is on between The Citizens and Milan to grab his signature.

Reports from Tuttosport suggest that Douglas Costa’s proposed move from Bayern Munich to Juventus is on stand-by. The journal states that the Bavarian club will only release the player when they have lined-up a suitable replacement.

Lazio and Milan meanwhile, have still to agree on a deal for Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia. The 30-year-old looked to be on his way to the San Siro but Corriere dello Sport states that the two clubs are around €5M apart in what they believe the player is worth.

Milan are also short in their valuation of Juventus goalkeeper Neto. Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the Rossoneri are trying to pick up the Brazilian for less than the €10M asking price but that Juve have stated the 27-year-old will not leave for anything under that figure.
