Paper Talk: Conte turned down mega-offer to stay with Chelsea; Some love from Russia for Liverpool target

Reports in Corriere dello Sport this morning have stated that Inter Milan offered Chelsea boss Antonio Conte a 10-year contract to be the next coach of the club. As the Nerazzurri gets ready to unveil Luciano Spalletti as their new boss, the journal claims that the Suning Group, which owns the Italian giants, were ready to offer Conte €12M-a-season to return to his homeland.

Towards the end of last season, Inter made it quite clear that the Italian tactician was their number one choice but when it became clear that his future would remain in West London, Nerazzurri chiefs decided to look elsewhere and recruited the former Roma boss to take over one of Italian football’s hottest seats.
