Paper Talk: Napoli back in for Arsenal custodian; Mourinho says no to Juve for Darmian

Reports from Il Mattino suggest that Napoli are back in the race to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. It had looked as though the 27-year-old Polish international was set for a move to Juventus but the journal states that with the Partenopei still unsure about the future of current number one Pepe Reina, Szczesny remains a primary choice for his replacement.
 
The Pole has spent the past two seasons on-loan at Roma and has really adapted to life in Italy whilst at the same time, becoming a much improved player. Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is aware that Juventus now have their eye on want away Milan star Gianluigi Donnarumma which could re-open the track towards Szczesny (if Reina decides to leave).

Another Atalanta star could be heading to Milan with reports from Sportitalia that Milan are close to signing 23-year-old full-back Andrea Conti. The player is currently on Under-21 duty with Italy in Poland at the European Championships.


 
Fiorentina President Mario Cognini has told Fiorentinanews.com that he wants the situation with Winger Federico Bernardeschi settled as soon as possible. The 23-year-old has been linked with Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United and the patron told the portal that his club were not a supermarket and that business needed to be concluded quickly.


Mo Salah’s departure from Roma to Liverpool will open the door for the Giallorossi to bring in more summer signings. Corriere dello Sport states that the first player to arrive will be Feyenoord left-back Rick Karsdorp.
