Paper Talk: Inter move in on Italian striker, Chelsea target; Milan challenge Spurs for Dutch ace

Reports in Tuttosport this morning claim that Inter Milan have joined the race to sign Fiorentina frontman Federico Bernardeschi. The journal quotes new Viola boss Stefano Pioli who was asked about the 23-year-olds future in Tuscany to which he replied; “In football, no one is unsellable”. 
 
The Italian international has still to commit his future to the club amid reports that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are to step up their chase. New Inter boss Luciano Spalletti is also a huge admirer and backed by the club’s Chinese owners, he could now be a serious player in what looks set to be another long transfer saga.

Sky Sport states that Watford are in the hunt for Genoa striker Giovanni Simeone. The 21-year-old, who is the son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego, has also been linked with a summer move to Everton.


Lazio have been linked with Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel. Sky Sport claims that the 26-year-old, a target for several Premier League clubs this summer, is being lined up as replacement for Keita Balde who looks set to leave the Italian capital in the coming weeks.



Juventus are in contention to sign Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij. Corriere dello Sport states that Bianconeri boss Massimo Allegri, who yesterday signed a new deal in Turin, wants to reinforce his back-line and the 25-year-old Dutchman is on his radar.


Over in Milan, it’s reported that Rossoneri boss Vincenzo Montella is keen to add Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen to his roster this summer. Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the 24-year-old Dutchman, who is also interesting both Spurs and Everton, is now a priority target for the Italian giants.


Former Sunderland midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini could be heading to Genoa this summer. Secolo XIX claims that the 32-year-old, who is out of favour at Napoli, is wanted by the port club ahead of the new campaign.
