Paper talk: Agents of Liverpool man meet Juve, Roma star recovers for Chelsea clash

Juventus are known to be long time admirers of Liverpool midfielder Emre Can. The Germany International will see his contract expire at the end of the season and there is still no agreement between him and the Reds regarding a possible new deal.

The Old Lady has never hidden her interest for the talented 23-year-old and according to today’s edition of Tuttosport, representatives of the Serie A giants have recently met the player’s agents in Milan.

Juventus don’t want to sign Can in January but are interested in welcoming his services at the end of the season when the player would potentially move to Turin as a free agent.
This new meeting between the Old Lady and Can’s representatives, however, confirms the interest of the bianconeri who are also monitoring the situation of Leon Goretzka, another top Germany star whose contract (with Schalke 04) expires in June.

Meantime Roma are set to face Chelsea in a crucial Champions League clash tomorrow.
The giallorossi have suffered several injuries in the last few days but according to today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, Kostas Manolas may recover in time for tomorrow’s Olimpico clash.

The Italian paper claims the Greece International will train alongside the rest of the team today and that Roma’s medical staff are expected to give him green light to play tomorrow night.

Manolas skipped the Stamford Bridge clash due to a hamstring injury.
