Parma are about to sign David Lofquist from Mjällby. The Swedish left midfielder has been a Gialloblu target for long and now the Ducali agreed to complete the deal.

The player is in Parma accompanied by his agent Martin Klette. Mjällby are not fully satisfied though considering that the player’s contract expires in December 2011 thus he will be able to join Parma on a free transfer by January.

Despite playing on a different role, Lofquist reminds of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his body built as well as speed and strength. The 25-year-old is left-footed.
