Pastore to Milan, Cassano to Palermo: a good deal for everyone

    • Gianluca Minchiotti

Paulo Henrique Ganso is hard to reach. With his agents Santos and Corinthians it is very complicated. His frequent injuries have also left a question mark over his future. Kakà's return could be fascinating, but also problematic as returns to Milan were not always successful in the past, remembering Gullit and Shevchenko. And José Mourinho was clear: If Milan want Kakà, they must sell Ibrahimovic. Milan will not let the Swede go.

So, the new name for the Milan attacking midfield could be Javier Pastore, whom Galliani, Braida and Allegri have all at some point been admirers. The acquisition of  "Flaco" will allow Milan to register Taiwo also as a non-EU player. As regards the agreeement with Palermo, Milan could propose Antonio Cassano.

Pastore to Milan, in exchange for Cassano and money (30 million?), a deal that would make everybody happy. The Rossoneri which would have a "young Kaka" and a Ganso without injuries: Pastore would finally find himself in a big club. Palermo would make good money and could give the fans a new icon: Cassano, who could find new motivation at Palermo.

The main hurdle could be the controversy on the TV rights and the threat from big clubs not to deal with little clubs. But would this block last the whole summer?
