Paul Pogba: Blow for Juventus as Man Utd star ready to take pay cut to join Madrid

Paul Pogba's future has been hanging in the balance for a while now. The Manchester United midfielder was first linked with an exit from the North England club last summer, when disagreements and rows with then-manager Jose Mourinho led to the Frenchman considering leaving the club. However, Pogba stayed and Mourinho was sacked towards the end of 2018.

In recent months, reports have returned linking Pogba to both Juventus and Real Madrid, however Real Madrid reportedly cannot afford to offer Pogba what he is earning at United and therefore it appeared as though Los Blancos were out of the race to sign the Frenchman. However, fresh reports from the Manchester Evening News suggest that Pogba is ready to take a pay cut to join Madrid in the summer.

This will come as a blow to Juventus who will now have to abandon Pogba as a potential target, if the rumours are true, and find an appropriate alternative.
