Perisic update: Man United keen to wrap up deal for Inter star
CalcioMercato released a piece earlier today stating that the Man United CEO is opting to stay in England in order to wrap up deals for both Tottenham Hotspur's Eric Dier and Inter Milan’s Perisic.
The 28-year-old winger Perisic has been on the Red Devils radar for some time, but his Serie A side have held out on an asking price for £48m.
The reining Europa League champions, Sky Sports understands, did bid an amount of £39m but it is thought that they will need to up the price to at least £45m in order to get their man.
The Croatian international moved to Italy in 2015 after a transfer from Bundesliga club Wolfsburg and has scored 18 goals in 70 games for the Milan side. For Croatia he has scored 16 goals in 57 outings.
