Pirlo discusses history of Juventus, AC Milan and Inter

Former Inter, AC Milan and Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo discussed his playing career in Italy during an interview with Sky Sport. When asked about the key factors behind each club’s cycle of success over the past two decades, he said: “Having an historic core is vital. When there is a strong base to work from, things become easier. We had a core of players from the Italian national team at both AC Milan and Juventus when we were successful, while at Inter they had the Argentine one and they won a lot of trophies.”
