Pochettino on Inter game: 'We will make the impossible possible'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has said that while their Inter task is being branded as 'mission impossible', Spurs are keen on making it possible on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League.

Spurs are currently third in the group and have to win against Inter tomorrow to harbor hopes of making it to the next round. If Spurs do win, they will have to beat Barcelona and will have to hope that Inter lose to PSV Eindhoven in two weeks' time.

Pochettino was recently talking to the press ahead of Tottenham's game against Inter and he said that Spurs will make the impossible possible against the nerazzurri tomorrow.

Pochettino said: "I know and I would like to show that an impossible mission can become possible. We must try.

"We are all aware of the importance of the match against Inter, but the Champions League, like the World Cup, is a short tournament in which several factors come into play: injuries, fitness conditions, draws. I would like to think about tomorrow from a sporting point of view and not from an economic point of view.

"I also hope to have the support of our fans. Wembley is a big stadium and it's not easy to fill it. Even with sixty thousand people it may seem empty, but I will never reproach our people. They always followed us with passion."
