Pochettino warns Inter: ‘After Sarri, I will defeat Spalletti’

Maurizio Pochettino, Tottenham manager, spoke at a press conference before the upcoming match against Inter, as reported on La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Barcelona? No pressure but it’s an incentive to overcome the need to win, we are confident. Inter are a great team and they are doing important things, but we want to replicate the performance against Chelsea. If we can play with the same intensity on Saturday night, we can win and achieve our goal. We had a great game. I thank Sarri for the compliments he has given us. Maurizio is a great coach and has had a major impact in the Premier League”.
How do you judge Sarri's work?
"Maurizio has impressed everyone so far. Before facing us he was still unbeaten: 12 games without defeats, it does not happen often in Premier. He is adapting his philosophy to Chelsea and he needs time to develop everything he wants, but like for Empoli and Napoli, he will do an excellent job”.
But tomorrow you will have Wembley pushing you for the revenge.

“I always tell him: I was lucky to play in the national team with a champion. Javier a little less to have me mate. He is a very dear friend and we have a very good relationship. It is the symbol of Inter and an exceptional person. A true example for all. I know that he has had nice words for me and I thank him publicly”.
What do you think of Spalletti?
"I know him very well, he's a great coach. His teams play good football and I expect Inter to come to London to win. They play offensive but are well balanced. Tomorrow night? We will both play attacking and to win from the first minute, I do not think they come here to defend themselves”.

“Real Madrid. They won the cup for three years in a row and remains the strongest. It's hard to win the fourth, but it's a great team”.
