    Pogba: ‘I want to be the next total footballer. Like Messi, Ronaldo and Iniesta....combined!’

    Paul Pogba is one of the best midfielders in the world. After the departures of Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez last summer, he got much more responsibility at Juventus, but after a difficult start to the season, he has settled himself as one of the new leaders of the bianconeri dressing room.

    The 23-year-old French star talked to ESPN about his plans for the future.

    “I want to do everything on the pitch: I want to attack, defend, make assists and scoring goals. I want to make challenges and win the ball back. I want to be a leader, become a new midfielder, be a defensive and an offensive player at the same time. I want to be the next total footballer.”

    “What I really want to do is picking the best qualities from the best players in the world. I’d like to be like Cristiano, Ronaldinho, Messi and Iniesta combined. I am serious, I’d like to be like the sum of lot of amazing footballers in a single one. I’d like to reach a point in which I can play like Vieira, Deschamps, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Henry and Ronaldo. That wouldn’t be bad at all.”
