Promising Italian goalkeeper Perin celebrates 100th Genoa appearance
A few years ago, Mattia Perin was just another young, promising shotstopper rising through the ranks.
Now, he's been called up to play for Italy, and has also reached 100 appearances with Genoa, helping his side earn a 0-0 draw against Napoli last night.
Perin responded to the landmark on his instagram page: “I'm proud to have made it to 100 appearances with the Genoa shirt, to have grown with his shirt is a matter of great pride for me. We're very happy with our performance today, earning a good draw against a great team like Napoli. We'll keep working hard every day to gain as much satisfaction as possible. #vamosmuchachos".
