Psg consider summer loan move for out of favour Man City defender

Psg are considering signing out of favour Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala, according to a report of France Football.

The French centre-back joined the Citizens for €30m from Porto in summer 2014 but Pep Guardiola decided to send him out on loan at Valencia last summer.

Mangala played 33 games in all competitions in Spain last season managing two goals. Now that the player is back at the Etihad Stadium, however, Guardiola has still no long term plans for the 26-year-old who is now being considered as a possible reinforcement by the Ligue 1 giants.

Manchester City, however, want to sell the former Porto star on a permanent deal, whilst Psg are only considering a possible temporary transfer.

Psg tried to sign former Real Madrid star Pepe, but the Portuguese defender has eventually joined Besiktas and that’s why new Psg’s director of sport Antero Henrique is now considering a loan move for Mangala who is likely to leave the Blue side of Manchester in the summer.
