PSG rival Juve for €20m Real Madrid defender

Paris Saint-Germain have joined Juventus in the race to sign Danilo, according to France Football.

The Real Madrid right-back finds himself stuck behind Dan Carvajal, and is seen as being too inconsistent to improse himself.

He is liked by Juventus, who have long been tracking him as an alternative to Dani Alves (another Dan!), who is set to go to Manchester City, and has already announced that he doesn’t want to play for the Turinese side anymore.

PSG owner Nasser Al Khelaifi is set to throw a spanner in the Old Lady’s spokes, however, as he is planning a mega move for the Brazilian.

Juventus made an offer for Danilo last week, but the €15 million bid was below Real Madrid’s valuation of €20m.

Ironically, the Bianconeri have since met with PSG man Serge Aurier’s agent. The same Aurier is seen as key in PSG’s efforts for Danilo. They’ll only go for the Brazilian if Aurier leaves.
