PSG suffer injury setback, Italian international out for a month

PSG midfielder Thiago Motta is expected to miss the next three weeks at least after sustaining a meniscus injury.

According to Le Parisien, the 35-year-old will be sidelined until around November 18 with the setback and surgery has yet to be ruled out.

Motta will now miss Friday’s clash with Nice, while he’ll also likely be absent against Anderlecht in the Champions League as well as the Ligue 1 meeting with Angers ahead of the international break.

A decision on whether or not the Italian international will have to undergo an operation will be made early next week, while the injury is said to have been troubling him in recent outings.
