PSG to challenge Man Utd for Spurs full-back

Whilst Spurs chairman Daniel Levy gets ready for a summer assault by Manchester United for his England defender Danny Rose, Sunsport has revealed this afternoon that he may also have to try to fend off advances from across the English Channel.

The journal claims that French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 26-year-old who only signed a new deal in North London last September. It’s understood that the Parisian’s are looking for a ready-made replacement for Brazilian full-back Maxwell who at 35 years of age, is entering the twilight of his career.

Boss Unai Emery has been keeping tabs on the England man’s progress for the past season and despite him recently undergoing an operation on a knee injury, the Spanish tactician is keen on bringing him to the Parc des Princes this summer.

Spurs look set to face a battle to keep some of their high-profile stars with Rose’s two England international team-mates, Kyle Walker and Eric Dier, also linked with a move away.
