From Spain: PSG to make world record bid for Bale

Reports in Diario Gol state that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a world record bid to land Real Madrid frontman Gareth Bale. The 27-year-old Welsh superstar missed half of last season through injury and it’s understood that Real President Florentino Perez is ready to off-load the player this summer.

The portal quotes journalist Eduardo Inda who explained on TV show El Chiringuito de Jugones de Atresmedia that the player is being targeted by PSG chiefs to be their big summer signing. Inda explained that; “PSG are interested in Bale and will be prepared to offer the same as they were prepared to offer for Neymar last year,€180-190M”.

Perez has always wanted his galactico to emulate that of his predecessor Ramon Calderon who brought Cristiano Ronald to the Santiago Bernabeu. However, it’s understood that the patron has been less than impressed with the time that Bale has spent on the sidelines and he may decide to cash-in whilst his stock is high.
