Raiola: 'Pogba is worth more than € 100 million'
There is little doubt that Raiola’s most wanted client right now is the Juventus’ ace Paul Pogba. The Frenchman is expected to take a leadership role inside the Old Lady dressing room this season, especially after netting the opener in last Saturday’s Derby della Mole.
“Last year he[Pogba] decided to extend his contract with the club and we still haven’t take any decision regarding his future. I don’t see why he shouldn’t remain at Juve.”
Actually, following last week’s Juventus defeat at the hands of Sassuolo, it was Raiola himself who told RMC that Pogba was chased by the best European clubs and that the duo were keeping all the options open.
According to the Italian-born Dutch agent, things have recently changed.
“Pogba will leave his current club just when everyone will be satisfied: the player, Juventus and the buying club . We don’t have any agreement with any other team.”
“Pogba’s price is decided by Juventus not by me. Last year they turned down an offer worth € 85 million plus bonuses saying that they wanted to cash in at least € 100 million. Perhaps they still want that money, or maybe they want even more now. Last year Juventus didn’t want to sell him and Pogba didn’t want to leave.”
Another couple of hot names in Raiola’s client list are the likes of Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The first one has re-joined AC Milan last summer after a woeful spell at Liverpool, while the latter has been recently linked with a Rossoneri move after having played two seasons at the club.
“Mario is finding serenity again. I believe he will be a key player of both Milan and Italy when he will have recovered from his injury. Unfortunately, it takes time to get rid of a sports hernia and we decided to undergo traditional treatment as we he doesn’t want to suffer any future relapse, even if it that means remaining out of action for one or two weeks more than usual.”
“Ibra’s contract with PSG expires next June and he still doesn’t know whether he’ll renew it or not. Even if he won’t, I don’t see any chances for him to re-join AC Milan but at the moment it’s just too early to talk about it.”
