Ramsey signs huge pre-contract agreement with Juventus

Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has reportedly signed a massive pre-contract with Juventus, as he is now set to leave Arsenal on a free transfer at the end of the season.

BBC Sport's reliable correspondent has tweeted that Ramsey signed the contract with Juve earlier today, after having undergone a two-part medical with the bianconeri in the January transfer window.

The tweet read: "Aaron Ramsey today signed pre-contract agreement to join Juventus in summer. 28yo penned 4yr deal after passing 2-part medical late Jan. Wales midfielder leaves Arsenal 30 June after 11yrs. Set to become all-time highest-paid GB player (basic salary), just over £400kpw #Juve #AFC"

Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff City in the summer of 2008 for a fee of 4.8 million euros. Since then, he has become an important player for the club and has impressed this season too.

He rejected attempts from Arsenal as the club could not meet the player's wage demands and with his contract at the club expiring at the end of the season, he now seems set on a free transfer to Juventus.

This season, Ramsey has made 22 appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal, scoring twice and assisting six times.
