Thiago Motta will not play against Lecce tomorrow afternoon, but Inter boss Claudio Ranieri hopes that the Brazilian will soon return in the team.

The Nerazzurri midfielder is at the centre of a transfer negotiation between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter.

“There are only few days left in the transfer window, so let’s all be hopeful about this,” said Ranieri.

“I do not care what agents and relatives of players say, otherwise I would have to join Twitter or those things.

"There are four days left and I expect to get the most from the players available,” concluded the Tinkerman who personally asked President Massimo Moratti not to sell Thiago to PSG.
