RB Leizpig prepare January offer for Calcio star, Man City product Fofana
It hasn’t taken long for young Udinese star Seko Fofana to attract interest from all over Europe, with Sky Sport Italia reporting that the former Manchester City trainee is now being targeted by RB Leipzig.
Having made a very strong start to the current season, the 21-year-old midfielder added to his already-impressive CV by blasting a beauty past Atalanta goalkeeper Etrit Berisha, helping the Zebras earn a 3-1 win against Atalanta, who had previously won eight games in a row.
Leipzig, who ceded first place in the Bundesliga to Bayern Munich at the weekend after an away loss to Ingolstadt, are working to make an offer in January for Fofana, who has already scored four league goals this season.
A City player from 2013 to 2016, he went through the Mancunians’ training academy before being loaned out to Fulham and Bastia, before being acquired by the Zebras this summer for a measly €3.5m.
