Real Madrid defender gives green light to Juventus move

Real Madrid defender Danilo is reported to have given his green light to move to Juventus. The Brazilian is the Old Lady’s number one target to replace Dani Alves who has just rescinded his contract with the Serie A giants.

Danilo, 25, has been allowed to leave Real Madrid in exchange for a fee close to € 25 million. According to Tuttosport, the player’s entourage has an agreement with Juventus although the Serie A giants has yet to agree the player’s price-tag with Real Madrid.

Juventus’ DS Fabio Paratici met an intermediary tasked with the job of representing Real Madrid. Juve’s opening € 15 million (plus add-ons) is yet not enough and the bianconeri could soon raise their offer to € 20 million, closing the gap with Real’s asking price.

Danilo’s possible Juventus move would prevent the bianconeri from signing Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa who, just like his compatriot, is an extra-EU player and Juve have only one slot left to sign players coming from outside Europe.
