Real Madrid, Marca slams Solari: ‘Three decisions difficult to explain’

Spanish outlet Marca have attacked Real Madrid and Santiago Solari for bad selection in their 3-0 defeat against Eibar yesterday.

Marca state that the exclusions of Isco, Mariano Diaz and Marcos Llorente were questionable. While Isco was on the bench, Mariano was not even in the squad after having faced Celta Vigo.

Marcos Llorente had traveled to Eibar but was not in the squad and was out watching the game from the stands instead.

Marca state that Solari has taken some bold steps in giving Javi Sanchez, Vinicius and Dani Ceballos more regular game time, not playing these three players costed him the game and it wasn't the best decision to take for the club and the manager.

The damaging defeat left the Los Blancos sixth in the La Liga table, just three points off fourth placed Alaves and five points off Barcelona, who currently top the table despite their 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid.
