Real Madrid star tells Perez to accept Chelsea's offer as move for Sandro runs into trouble

Reports from Spain state that Real Madrid full-back Danilo is trying to force a move to Chelsea. The 26-year-old Brazilian international is desperate to make the move to the Premier League having made just 17 appearances for Los Blancos since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu from Porto in 2015.

Having struggled to compete with Dani Carvajal, Danilo now wants out and Diario Gol claims that the player has told patron Florentino Perez to accept Chelsea’s £26M offer. His current deal in the Spanish capital does not expire until 2021 but with a regular starting berth looking ever more distant, Danilo wants regular game time to ensure he could grab a place at next summer’s World Cup Finals in Russia.

The fact that the player is prepared to push through the deal will be good news to Blues boss Antonio Conte who has seen his €70M bid for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro rejected by the Italian champions. Having lost Leonardo Bonucci to Milan this week, it’s unlikely that the Bianconeri will sanction any more big name departures this summer.
