Real Madrid target: I will leave Chelsea when I want to, not now
Eden Hazard has rebuffed talk of an imminent departure from Chelsea, stating that he “will leave when I want to leave.”
The Belgian international has found himself repeatedly linked to Real Madrid, who are looking for alternatives as they flounder in La Liga, a whole ten points short of leaders Barcelona.
The former Lille man was the star of the show last season as the Blues returned to winning ways in the Premier League.
Speaking to Canal+ in France, the Pensioners playmaker said “I’m still really happy at the club. I have two years left on my deal. When I want to leave, I will leave.
“But, for the moment, I’m a Blue.
“Everyone knows how much I admire Real, but I’m happy here.
“Every year things are said about me, but I’ve always stayed.
“In Lille I was reported to be going to PSG, but I stayed.
“Now, at Chelsea, I’m always linked to an imminent departure, but I’m still here.”
