Real Madrid want to make as much as possible from €73m Man United target

Real Madrid want to make as much as possible from Alvaro Morata’s sale, according to reports from Spain.

According to Cadena Cope, this explains why they rejected a €73 million offer from Manchester United yesterday.

The Spanish striker was a sensation in Turin from 2014 to 2016, scoring 27 goals in 93 games.

This season, on the other hand, he’s managed 23 goals, adding five more assists in all competitions.

Though Real Madrid haven’t quite worked out what they want to do, Zinedine Zidane recently lobbied the directors to keep the international.

Beyond that, however, it appears that the Merengues want to squeeze every cent out of their player. Part of this has to do with the fact that he’s an academy player, and has already been a success in Turin.

Were he to do the same in England, Morata would be just another Real youngster who was mishandled and who triumphed elsewhere.
