Real Madrid: Why Sergio Ramos and Ronaldo are not on good terms anymore

Relations between Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s two captains, are not too great at the moment. According to AS, several disagreements over players leaving in the past few months has created a divide between the two players, both of whom carry significant weight in the Madrid dressing room.

Ronaldo said that the team had been weakened by the departures of Pepe, James Rodríguez and Morata. Ramos has since called the Portuguese star’s attitude into question, which of course did not go down well. And that was before he decided not to celebrate Isco’s goal in a 3-0 triumph over Las Palmas.

According to the aforementioned newspaper, the final straw was when the Spanish national team captain was asked about leaked information in the local media, claiming that CR7 had decided to leave the club next summer: “Ask him, those things escape me,” he said.
