Real Madrid, Zidane not worried about early season struggles as he does not rule out winter additions...

Real Madrid did not start this season in the best of ways as they are hoping to get back on track soon. They are a full 10 points off first placed FC Barcelona in the La Liga standings as they are also 3 points off first placed Tottenham in their UCL group. Here is what Zinedine Zidane had to say to the press (via Espn) ahead of their game against APOEL:

"Benzema? He is the first player who wants to give more. He knows that he should and could be giving us more. It is my job to help my players out when they have a harder time. Improvements? Yes I feel like we have improved of late as our play is more direct. Even so, we need to score more often if we are to be more consistant. Let's hope we can do so tomorrow in our game against Apoel. It isn't easy on younger players to perform in a big club like Real Madrid but Marco Asensio should be an example to all of our younger lads. Ceballos, Llorente and Achraf can all look at Asensio's situation. He did not play all that much last season but has been doing so more consistantly this year".

INJURIES - " I am focused on tomorrow's game and on the players that are fit. It won't be an easy game for us since Apoel are doing well of late. The pressure is on so we know what we have to do tomorrow...". Real Madrid will have to do without Sergio Ramos, Keyor Navas and Gareth Bale for tomorrow's game.

COACHING - "I enjoy doing what I am doing, I am always positive about it. We are lucky to do what we do so it is important to always be positive. I am sure we will improve and I am not worried at all since I know that we have a ton of quality".

WINTER TRANSFER MARKET - Zidane then added : "I don't want to talk about the transfer window since I am focused on tomorrow's game. When the time comes, we'll talk about it...".
