Real Madrid have joined the race for Arsenal star man Robin Van Persie, the Daily Express reports.

The Dutchman is a target of several top clubs and will probably leave the London outfit in the summer for a €30M fee.

The Gunners are willing to cash in considering that the player will be a free agent in June 2013.

Juventus and Milan have been following Van Persie closely but the interest of Real Madrid basically lowers down their chances to sign the player.

Manchester City are also strongly interested in his services and will probably fight it out with the Merengues given that the Italian clubs do not have the financial availability to match their offers.

    • Milan on Ganso

The Rossoneri have been after Paulo Henrique Ganso for over a year now but the Brazilian is still tied to Santos.

In the summer, Adriano Galliani could once again try to sign the player, who has been linked to Porto and PSG as well.

“The Rossoneri cannot afford him, like any other Italian club,” admitted South-America’s expert Sabatino Durante.

“The link to PSG is real; the player is worth around €35-40M. I know it because last summer I had two meetings in Via Turati about him as I was the emissary in charge with negotiations.

“Porto offered €10M for him last January. Probably they were looking for a gift…”

    • Roma-Dodó

Roma director Walter Sabatini might have already agreed a deal with Corinthians for the “new Roberto Carlos”.

Dodó may move to the Olimpico in the summer although Sabatino Durante believes the transfer hasn’t been completed yet.

“The boy just recovered from a serious injury and the Giallorossi are not the only ones watching,” explained Durante.

“In Italy there are always talks about Brazilian players but then clubs always end up signing low-profile players like Jonathan, Romulo and Marquinho, who are almost unknown over here…”
