Renato Sanches: Ancelotti drops major AC Milan hint amid Man Utd rumours

Bayern Munich star Renato Sanches has emerged as a top transfer target of Manchester United and AC Milan. The Portuguese starlet joined the Bavarians in a potential € 70 million deal last summer but due to his lack of game time, the Bundesliga giants are now open to sell him.

“He [Renato Sanches] won’t have lot of game next season and we are open to discuss his possible sale”, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said earlier this week.

“We can sell him on loan or on a permanent deal, I am not the manager but I believe Renato needs regular game time.”

“AC Milan are interested in signing him, I can confirm that, but talks have been put on hold after last week’s meeting.”

“Clubs interested must be aware that they’d need a huge offer to sign him and I believe AC Milan can’t match our asking price. I think that an offer in the region of 48 million could be enough to sign him.”

Although reports in England claim Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign the Portuguese, Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has just made a very interesting statement which may be proof that Reanto Sanches will be joining AC Milan. Bayern Munich are set to meet AC Milan in a friendly game tomorrow and Ancelotti spoke to assembled media on Friday, on the eve of the game.

“AC Milan have signed great players so far and their new ownership seems to be going the right direction. I am on very good terms with Montella and I believe he did a great job last season. I wish him the best.”

“As for Renato Sanches, he is under contract with Bayern Munich at the moment but I amworking to make him become a fan of AC Milan. At the moment there are no news regarding his future.”
