AC Milan continue their search of a striker ahead of the winter transfer market. The likes of Ibrahimovic, Quagliarella and Pato have all been linked with the Rossoneri, though it seems none of these will make a transfer in January. 

 

As a result of this, AC Milan have set their sights on Genoa's Christian Kouame instead, for whom there have been contacts between Preziosi and Leonardo, as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb. 

 

The idea of Milan, by exploiting the excellent relationship between the two clubs, is to obtain a loan with a right of redemption. However, Genoa would be more willing to sell the player in June, for a price tag of €35m. Obviously an exaggerated evaluation, though it remains to be seen where the negotiations will end up.
