REPORT: Borussia Dortmund sound out bid for Newcastle star Sissoko
According to the Bild, Borussia Dortmund are also chasing Newcastle midfield Moussa Sissoko.
Despite not enjoying a particularly good season, the 26-year-old Frenchman rebounded in his country's defeat to Portugal in the Euro 2016 final, arguably outplaying most of his team-mates at the Parc des Princes.
Moreover, Sissoko belongs to Newcastle, whose recent relegation has pushed a lot of its stars to look for an exit. This may not be as simple as it appears, with the Magpies steadfastly refusing to undersell their prize assets. Also chased by Real Madrid, the Paris native is valued at €40 million, a big investment for anyone.
