Report: Chelsea and Real Madrid hope as Icardi decides to leave Inter after rejecting new contract offer

Mauro Icardi will not renew his contract with Inter and he will leave the Nerazzurri next summer, TyC Sports in Argentina reports. The Tv channel cites as the source of the news the wife and agent of the striker, Wanda Nara.

The meeting between Wanda and Inter has reportedly led to the decision of interrupting the relationship started in 2013. The negotiation has always been difficult and according to the latest report in Argentina, Wanda Nara and Icardi have now decided to leave the club in the summer.

Icardi has a € 110 million release clause that is only active in the first two weeks of July, from the 1st until the 15th of July. According to what has been leaked in the past weeks, the management of Inter wanted to remove the release clause from Icardi’s contract. Marotta is not a lover of release clauses and his desire is to remove the clause from the player’s contract.

In the coming months, it will be possible to understand if the rumors arriving from Argentina that link Icardi to Real Madrid and Chelsea are real or if they are just part of the game for the renewal.
