Report: Emerson to Chelsea finalized
The Italian-Brazilian will travel to London on Tuesday to undergo medical tests before signing the official contract.
Per reports, Emerson’s move will net a return of 20 million euros for Roma, plus bonuses and incentives.
Originally, the deal was supposed to include striker Edin Dzeko, but complications with that part of the transaction scrubbed those plans. Instead, Emerson heads to Stamford Bridge and will serve as an alternative to Marcos Alonso.
