Man City tried to sign Rodrigo Bentancur from Juve. According to Corriere Dello Sport, the Premier League side presented a 'big offer' for the Uruguayan in the summer, but the Bianconeri decided to reject their attempt. The 22-year-old has featured in six league games for Juve this season, playing two of them from start.
