Report: Roma star has MLS offer, wants to play for Boca Juniors

Roma legend Daniele De Rossi has different suitors, including the MLS, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Though the 33-year-old has said that he will stay at his current club if he is offered the chance, he has also revealed that he has yet to be contacted by them.

Currently earning a stunning €6.5m a year, the highest wages in Serie A until Gonzalo Higuain moved to Juventus to bag a handy €7.5m a year.

Speaking to the Gazzetta two years ago, the Azzurri mainstay made an interesting confession, saying that he liked the idea of playing for Boca Juniors.

“Ending my career in America is a little obsession of mine, I hope to make it.

“In fact, when I was a kid I dreamed of playing in a Boca - River derby and of wearing the Boca jersey, it’s a team I’ve liked since I was small.

“I’d love to play a derby against River”
