Report: Wenger inching closer to Milan as Gattuso's future is in doubt

AC Milan played against Fiorentina today at the San Siro as Pioli's men came away with the 0-1 win (thanks to a Federico Chiesa goal). This was an important game for the rossoneri but they once again failed to score. Because of this result, Lazio leapfrogged Milan into fourth place as Rino Gattuso's men will have to respond in a positive way soon.

WENGER IN POLE POSITION - According to Tuttomercatoweb (via Calciomercato.com), it seems like Arsene Wenger's name is becoming hot again as Rino Gattuso's future is in heavy doubt. It seems like the Milan management (led by Ivan Gazidis, Leonardo and Paolo Maldini) want Gattuso to earn two wins in their final two Serie A games of the year (against Frosinone and SPAL) if not, he risks being let go in early 2019. If Gattuso is eventually let go, Wenger would reportedly be in pole position followed by ex-Milan player Roberto Donadoni. More to come on the matter...
