Reports: Chelsea forward offered to Milan on loan

  • David Baleno

According to La Repubblica via MundoDeportivo, Diego Costa was offered to Milan. The out of favor Chelsea striker has been offered to the Rossoneri until January, when he will move to Atletico Madrid definitively. The Colchoneros, in fact, have their market blocked until 2018. The player is a constant thorn in the side for coach Antonio Conte, as they continue to ride a roller coaster of a relationship. Most recently, the ex Atletico player was seen in social media photos sporting the jersey of his former club.

With fellow Spain international Alvaro Morata now coming into the Blues squad, there is speculation around that Diego Costa will be on his way out. These are the first reports linking him with Italy, although knowing Milan’s summer strategy, it would not come as a surprise should they bring in the fierce striker. Also rumored to be on Milan’s list are Belotti and Kalinic, but should both of them stay at their respective clubs, a loan deal for Diego Costa could give Milan a boost in attack for the short term.
