Official: Morata joins Chelsea as financial figures behind deal are revealed

It isn't a secret anymore, Alvaro Morata is set to become a Chelsea player shortly. As Sky Sport (via Ilbianconero) revealed, Antonio Conte's club have found an agreement with Real Madrid for the acquisition of the Spanish international. Let's not forget that Conte was the one who wanted him at Juventus and he had also tried to sign him last season too. Morata will be in London in the coming hours as Chelsea will dish out the following sum to Real Madrid for this transfer: 85 million euros (bonuses included). The Spaniard will sign a 5 year deal with the blues as he will make a 9 million euros per season annual salary. After only a year in Madrid, Alvaro says farewell again as he is ready for a new English experience.

Morata appeared in 52 games on the season (for Real Madrid and for Spain) as he scored 27 goals and added five assists on the season. He should easily become of the best strikers in the EPL this season...
