Revealed: Juve made an offer for a Roma midfielder, the latest

As the UCL final in Cardiff is now over, Juventus have fully shifted their focus on the transfer market as they want to improve their team. They have virtually closed a deal for Sampdoria's Schick as they have been working hard.

According to Corriere dello Sport's Guido D'Ubaldo (Via Tuttoasroma.it), Juventus offered Roma 16 million euros for Sassuolo midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini. The Italian youngster returned to Roma instead as they had an option to buy him back set at 10 million euros.

New Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco coached Pellegrini at Sassuolo as he will likely be an important piece for the gialorossi going forward. Another Sassuolo player who is on Roma's radar is Gregoire Defrel. Roma should meet up with Defrel's agent soon as they would like to acquire him. Roma have incredible depth in their midfield as they can count on De Rossi, Strootman, Nainggolan, Paredes and now Pellegrini. Chances are that one of the above mentioned players will be sold by summer's end....
